Photography started out as a hobby for me when I first bought a Fuji S5800. It was pretty much in auto mode most of the time until I questioned myself on what these other buttons do. I started reading the manual and was astounded in the amount of control I had over the camera. It was doing what I wanted it do.

A year later I decided to mount the camera on my sons bike and video him riding him bike but within a few minutes he fell off and the camera was in pieces. My son was not hurt so that was all good but I was devastated about the camera. So, I decided to buy a Digiital SLR and the first proper camera I bought was a Canon 500d with the 18-55mm lens. From this I upgraded from lens to lens, camera to camera and really got the best out of my photography.

I then went to various businesses doing free shoots and building a bigger portfolio until I got my first wedding contract. From that point I have never looked back and I am now shooting with the best equipment out there. But its not all about equipment, its about composition and getting the right exposure. These two are the key elements to photography and from here you can then create photos that will be looked at over and over again throughout the generations. My favourite photos are the old ones. Looking back in time at something that is priceless and my photography is all about capturing those moments that will last through countless generations
